Welcome to Debden House Camping Site, an oasis of tranquillity nestled in the heart of Epping Forest.
Enjoy exclusive access through our gated entrance, ensuring both security and privacy throughout your stay. With wristband identification, you will have seamless access to our clean amenities, including pristine toilets and showers, as well as convenient facilities for drying clothes.
Explore the beauty of nature with scenic nature walks and gather around the unique opportunity to have an open campfire or BBQs under the stars.
Conveniently located a short taxi drive or walk from nearby Theydon Bois, Debden, and Loughton underground stations, accessing urban conveniences is a breeze.
Whether you are seeking relaxation or adventure, Debden House Camping Site offers the perfect blend of comfort, security, and natural splendour for an unforgettable getaway.
There are limited pitches that accommodate larger groups, the majority are for 5 people in size. If no large pitches are available, please book your party in 5 at a time and book as many pitches as needed.
Come to Debden House for the day (9am - 7pm) and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Epping Forest. Great for family BBQs, children's birthday parties and more. Electric Hookup available. Please note minimum of 6 per booking. If you are bringing a bouncy castle, please call the office on 020 8508 3008 prior to booking.
Arrival from 9am (last entry 5pm), departure strictly no later than 7pm - we cannot extend your stay.
We provide specialist pitches suited for larger motorhomes and caravans, all pitches are available with electric hookup if required.
Please note all Motorhomes/Caravans go to field 1 only.
IMPORTANT: On arrival you must provide 2 forms of I.D. (1 proof of address & 1 photo I.D.)
Debden House can provide the facilities and camping equipment for schools and youth group set camps. We provide the children and young people with tents and a roll mat (each tent sleeps between 10-15 people), a large marquee fully equipped with tables and chairs, electric cooker, fridge, fire extinguishers. We also provide a private designated camp fire area for use.
The school’s/YP’s camp field is dedicated to group bookings of 50 people. There are 2 camps available per day, so a maximum of 100 persons.

All prices are per person/item per night.
1 Proof of Newham residence to be provided at time of booking.
2 All wood for a campfire must be purchased on site. No outside wood is permitted.
We are pleased to announce that the campsite will be open for another season in 2026.
Opening Date: Friday, 10 July 2026
Closing Date: Sunday, 13 September 2026
For the 2026 season, the campsite will operate on a weekends-only basis. The site will be open from Friday and will close each Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Please note that the campsite will not be operating at full capacity this season, and availability will be limited. Pitches will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
All campers must book online through our booking system. No walk-in bookings will be accepted.
For the 2026 season:
Please also be aware that there will be limited amenities available this season. However, firelighters and kindling will still be available to purchase from the check-in office.
Please be aware that field 1 will be a mixed field for all campers and field 2 will remain only Adults with children. Please be mindful of this change when making a booking.
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new visitors for another enjoyable camping season.
