At Debden House we have been reviewing all the government guidelines and updates in regards to re-opening of businesses and campsites. Our customers and staff are of the highest priority and thus we have been very mindful in taking the correct approach in re-opening the campsite with different regulations set in place in order to keep the facilities safe and secure for everyone.
Extra Measures taken for staff & customer safety:
In order for all of the above to happen, unfortunately we have had to increase our prices by 15%. Please note, this will not have an effect on the prices for our customers due to the government’s reduction of VAT in the hospitality and leisure sector.
Our site will officially be open for campers on 31st July. The online booking system is now live.
Please note the following changes:
The campsite this year will be open from 31st July to 31st August full-time. Due to Covid-19, we had to reduce our season to make sure everyone is safe on our premises.
Debden House is surrounded by Epping Forest and is a perfect location for a camping getaway. Debden’s central location, only 20 minutes from the Stratford International terminal and 30 minutes from London Central, makes it an ideal base to explore London, Essex and the Home Counties.
General Note: Campers all will have different check-in times depending on which field they have booked. On the day of departure, campers must leave by 10am.
Field 1 – arrival time at 11am.
Field 2 – arrival time at 12pm.
Field 5 – arrival time at 1pm.
Day visitors are 9am to 5pm.
Please note, any caravans or electric hookup requests must be done via the office - you will need 3 forms of ID. 1 photo identity and 2 utility bills, (bills must be within the last 3 months & no phone bills or credit cards bills will be accepted) all 3 will be checked upon arrival.

We advise all our campers to book and pay online prior to arrival, this is particularly important during peak season and Bank holidays.

**No wood is allowed to be brought in from outside the campsite. All wood must be bought at Debden House.
